After every run you become stronger which allows you to progress further each time, some games even purposefully limiting your progress until you start a new run. They are designed with the intent of learning how the systems work so you can best use the randomization to your advantage and in some cases control it through progression. Roguelites are partially randomised encounters with progression systems that allow for leveling up a character through persistence. The distinction is pretty big and very necessary as a result. It just so happens that we all own code name Gordon, you just don't know it because steam/valve have it hidden for some reason ![]() ![]() So if you were to take one of those numbers for example and replace the 92 with that number and then run that same command, it would install whatever steam game that number is associated to. That same series of numbers correlates to the game itself within steam. If you look at your screenshots folder you'll notice that most games don't title the name of the folder for screenshots, they use a series of numbers.
